New York Times. I'm a lifelong skeptic who chooses her bandwagons carefully, especially where race and politics are concerned. Anyone who knows me well knows that. But skepticism isn't the same as cynicism, and I don't have a lot of patience for people (black, white and otherwise) who've been saying Barack Obama's nomination doesn't really mean anything. With his typical eloquence, Herbert explains why it does.
Now that I've gotten that off my chest, I cannot wait to see "Tropic Thunder" this weekend!
